What is Turning Point at Huntington University?

Turning Point at HU is a student organization dedicated to encouraging, educating, and mobilizing students to engage in civic life while staying grounded in Biblical truth.

What is your mission?

Our mission is to connect Biblical truth with civic engagement, promote individual responsibility and liberty, and create a faith-based community for respectful discussion on politics, culture, and Scripture.

Do I have to be political to join? 

No. You just need to be open to thoughtful discussion, community involvement, and growing in leadership through a Christ-centered lens.

How do I become a member? 

Membership is granted upon request by completing a membership form and agreeing to follow our constitution and HU guidelines.

Where do my donations go?

Donations are given to the university where they are stored in an account specifically for the Turning Point Chapter.

What does the executive board do? 

The executive board (officers + advisor) guides the direction of the organization, ensures the mission stays Christ-centered, and handles major decisions or concerns.

What are donations used for?

The donations that are given to the chapter are used exclusively for event funding, such as food and decorations needed for a successful event. In addition, the money may be used for travel expenses for the board members to attend local or national TPUSA events.

What conduct is expected of members?

Members are expected to act in a Christ-like manner, respect others, represent TPUSA Faith-HU with integrity, and follow university policies.
